It is a priveledge to be a part of Neenah Hoops Club and players/parents should treat it in this |
| |
manner and be dedicated to working hard and attending all practices and games |
* |
If you
are unable to attend a practice or a game, you are required to
contact your
coach as soon as possible. |
* |
Players
are responsible for equipment issued and will be fined for lost or
damaged |
equipment. |
* |
Academics
come first. Any player
who earns 1 F in any class will result in that player being |
ineligible
until he is passing. |
* |
No
disrespectful behavior will be tolerated. No vulgar or abusive language
will be |
tolerated. No talking to officials, opponents, or yourself
on the court. |
* |
Grooming-
Players are expected to keep their hair neatly trimmed. If you want
to |
know what neatly trimmed is, coaches will provide an opinion. No
facial
hair is |
allowed. No jewelry on the court. |
* |
Injuries
should be reported to the coach at once. If a player goes to a doctor,
please inform the coach of what is found. If a player is restricted,
a release is |
needed from the doctor before he can play again. If a
player is injured during the |
season, he must attend practices and games
until the end of
the season to |
receive his certificate of participation. |
* |
Playing
and practice time will not be equal . The players that the coaches
judge to |
be best based on ability and attitude displayed in practice
will play. Coaches will |
try to provide as much playing time as possible
for
players. |
* |
Communication
is important. Players and parents are encouraged to talk to the |
coach
if any question arises concerning the player or the team. This should
not |
be during practice time or at a game. |
